Newly cast 100 gram platinum bar from the Swiss LBMA certified refinery Metalor. Metalor platinum bars are recognized worldwide and easily traded due to their "good delivery" status. They contain the highest possible purity of platinum (999,5) and weigh exactly 100 grams.
Metalor
Metalor is a Swiss refinery that was founded in 1852 by Martin de Pury & Cie under the name āPreliminary Rolling Companyā. In its early years the factory was mainly specialised in gold melting and the production of watch cases. It was not for more than half a century later, in 1918, that the company ā that was now taken over by the SociĆ©tĆ© de Banque Suisse - eventually ventured the market of precious metals assaying and production of gold bars.
As of today, Metalor Technologies SA is no longer in hands of SBS, but is being run by the Metalor Group, a Swiss holding with branches in 17 countries all over the world. Throughout the years the company has turned into one of the biggest players in the precious metals business with one of the most advanced refineries in the whole world.
Good Delivery
Metalor is an LBMA (London Bullion Market Association) certified refinery and produces therefore silver bars with a good delivery status. Only the refineries that comply with the essential requirements to trade on the London market are accredited by the LBMA and consequently registered on the LBMA Good Delivery List.
In a nutshell, it implies that the refinery:

+ Has to process more than 10 tons of gold per year
+ Has to process more than 30 tons of silver per year
